CONFLICT RESOLUTION AND PREVENTION
Gain the benefits of cooperative and collaborative workplace relationships
To resolve conflict is to handle ‘difference’ by applying highly specific and effective skills and behaviours.  To prevent conflict is to understand that conflict escalates and is best identified and resolved in the early stages.

Conflict Resolution and Prevention is a training program that has a focus on managing conflict at a team /organisational level. Empathy is explored as a critical behaviour for working with 'difference' and diversity.

Program Outcomes:
- Identification of sources of conflict and determine the emotional and business impact
- Recognition of the signs and stages of conflict
- Application of 5 conflict handling modes and behaviours (based on work of Thomas Kilmann)
- Application of empathetic behaviours - they can be learnt!
- Demonstration of skills and behaviours to disarm aggression
- Demonstration of planning and negotiating to achieve resolution

The PRIORITY ONE TRAINING program, 'Dealing with Difficult People/ Clients' has an emphasis of managing conflict on a one-to-one level.

'Dealing with Difficult People' is accredited by The Law Society of Hong Kong and has been delivered since 2004.

Thanks for a great session on conflicts. You are a very talented trainer and the HKCCA would love to work with you again Executive Director, Morgan Stanley / Legal Compliance.

The day spent with you was rewarding. A lot of my colleagues did not know what to expect for a training on this subject and they found it was one-of-a-kind. Thanks for the effort you put in in trying to pull it together for us and your enthusiasm on the subject as demonstrated throughout the day.
